Extensive Damage Caused By The Flash Flood

BAGAN: Sat, the famous industrial estate in Malaysia, Bagan Industrial Estate newly had an unlucky incident when the estate was under a flash flood, which caused extensive damaged to the factories.

Besides, the machinery, new materials and products also had a worst damaged.The flash floods was caused by clogged monsoon drains. the stream cannot direct the drain and only sumped there. And then, when the rain occured, the level of water increased and the flood occured. These also caused by the attitude of the people that does not really care about their surroundings.

The manager of Bagan Industrial Estate, Mr Henry Tan, 56, said 'I estimated the estate loss about 2 millions ringgit and it was a large amount' .Because of this incident,15 factories must to be closed too.The workers could rest for a few months because the factories had a very serious damaged.

The nearby residents also had to evacuate to the other places for their safety because of the damaged house.One of the residents,Encik Rahmat,42,said 'the water in his house had reached to 12.5 cm after 4 hours rain heavily without stop'.The residents felt so sad and also regret because of this incident and their attitude towards surroundings.

The Prime Minister,Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak and a few another contributors were helped the victims with giving them some financial assistance.People should also avoid activities that could caused flood.For all fusse that involved in the flood,be aware of the safety and always obey to the instruction by the authorities.

They threw rubbish anywhere they want which caused the clogged drain in the first place.
