Glorious day of Aidilfitri is about 2 weeks from now. Parents are busy preparing new clothes, furniture and decorating their house. Meanwhile children are celebrating the coming festival in their own way such as playing firecrackers and even make their own crackers although they knew it is dangerous. From years to years there are news on children lost their fingers because of playing own made crackers. But some children just do not learn from all the incidents. Government had taken precautions to overcome this problem. Under the Explosives Act 1957, the government has banned the import or sale of fireworks and firecrackers and a person can be jailed for five years or fined RM10,000 or both.
Eventhough the banned had been done, still the incident occur during festive season every year. Do you think, the act by the government really help to prevent the lost of fingers and accident involving children playing crackers? What can you suggest to prevent the accident from happening?
Government steps in to tighten rule to prevent dangerous fireworks are sold all over the place very nice actually. in this case the parents should play an important role in take care their children before anything bad would happen. not a problem to just play a small spark as a celebrations of Hari Raya but at the same time the role of the two sides should be done together.
ReplyDeleteOf course it is fun to play crackers during this month but we have to remember that it is very dangerous especially the own made crackers. Many children are died and injured because of this things. I think the government should increase the price of the fine and the imprisonment years. In other to give them a learning and to save them too.

for someone who still want play the crakers, go ahead...but take care yourself and don't make trouble!!!!
I think parents must concerned about their children and don't let them play the crackers. If the children play the crackers, we must stop them from playing it. Lastly, playing crackers can cause suffering.

I think there are many ways to prevent this issue.But the most important parents should take iniciative to guard their children.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion that firecrackers brought many disadvantages to us.The disadvantage that we can see today is buying firecrackers waste our money.i think,better to use the money for useful things or we also can donate the money to those people that need it.

nowdays children are very clever and creative in making something that really dangerous and harm to them,for example in making their own made crackers are very dangerous.playing firecrackers or crackers are really fun and enjoyed but it will cause harm to us.

Playing fire cracker is one of the dangerous habit.There are many negative effect to anyone who playing those things.Because of that,we should not try it at home or anywhere whether it fun and interesting.The ways to prevent this accident from getting worse,the government should raise the price of a fine and give more monitoring about this issue.Besides that,parents also should frequently watching their children especially their sons.So that we can overcome this problem.-TENGKU UZMA FAQIHAH-

ReplyDeleteParents should not buy the firecrackers for their children. The firecrackers can harm the kids. However, from my point of view, it is okay to play the firecrackers as long as the parents monitor them ;-)

ReplyDeleteAmalina and Ani : I think act by the government are helpful but people does not obey.It is because children disobey their parents advice from playing crackers.They do not care about the side effect because they only think to have fun.
ReplyDeleteI think parent must teach their children how harmful the crackers since young.Besides that,the school can pay their role as a place to learn with open their mind.Next,government also can improve their act by campaigning.Lastly,why government do not create safe crackers for them.
In the nutshell,I hope in this Ramadhan month parent will keep their eye on children.
